Gather your group for a cozy, hands-on candle-making experience at The Village Wick. Whether you're celebrating a birthday, hosting a girls’ night, or just looking for a creative evening out, our private classes offer a relaxed and memorable atmosphere for all.

Your experience includes:

  • Step-by-step candle-making instruction

  • All supplies to create one 8 oz candle per guest, poured into a beautiful vessel

  • A vintage-inspired candle snuffer for each guest to take home

  • A delicious cheese and fruit tray

  • Lemon-infused water & a complimentary glass of wine per guest

  • Plates, cups, and napkins

  • Full cleanup — just show up and enjoy!

We’re also BYOB friendly and located in the heart of Miamisburg’s DORA district, so feel free to bring your favorite drinks along.


Additional Details:

  • Candles will be ready for pickup the following day after curing overnight

  • We’ll hold finished candles for up to 2 weeks if you can’t return right away

  • Shipping is available within the U.S. for $15 per candle

  • A minimum of 6 guests is required to book a private class

  • Class times are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis once payment is received

How long does the class last?
Classes typically last about 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on your group size.

Can we bring our own drinks?
Yes! We're located in the DORA district, so you're welcome to BYOB. We provide cups, lemon water, and a complimentary glass of wine per guest.

When can we pick up our candles?
Candles cure overnight and will be ready for pickup the next day. If needed, we’ll hold them for up to 2 weeks.

Do you offer shipping?
We do! Shipping is available within the U.S. for $15 per candle.

Is there a minimum number of guests?
Yes, private classes require a minimum of 6 guests. For smaller groups, check out our seasonal public workshops.

How do I reserve a date?
Dates are reserved once payment is received and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Contact us to check availability and secure your class!

What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations made at least 7 days in advance are eligible for a full refund.
Cancellations made less than 7 days before the scheduled class are non-refundable, but you may reschedule once for a future date within 60 days (subject to availability).
Cancellations within 24 hours or no-shows are non-refundable and non-transferable.

- Replacement: We will send you a new product as a replacement for the damaged item. As our inventory is unique, the replacement product may not be the exact item, but a similar size/shape/material. The Village Wick will send you available options for you to pick from. The replacement will be shipped to you at no additional cost.

- Refund: If a replacement is not available or you prefer a refund, we will issue a refund to the original payment method used for the purchase. Please note that it may take a few business days for the refund to be processed and reflected in your account.

4. Non-Refundable Items
